This is a Piña Colada inspired smoothie with a refreshing flavor and healthy heart. Made with frozen pineapple, coconut milk and sweetened with banana. This smoothie is a much loved favorite of mine. This smoothie is perfect as a snack between the meals. You can make it into a smoothie bowl by adding some crunchy granola on top. Try it for breakfast, the perfect start to a good day. I love to have this on a warm and sunny summer day to cool down, but it tastes just as good during the winter while dreaming of the summer that lies ahead.
PINEAPPLE COCONUT SMOOTHIE
vegan, gluten-free, soy free, nut free, refined sugar-free
1 ripe banana
1 large handful frozen pineapple
2 tbsp coconut milk
1 tsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla (6 drops extract)
0,5 dl water
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy.
2. Enjoy the tropical summer taste!
